Restoration, cleaning and surface preparation

Minor surface repairs and surface preparation is just as important as the application of our stain products. We use only the highest quality products from manufacturers like Prosoco and Mapei, matching the standards of Nawkaw product applications for your project. From site preparation, necessary equipment rentals, hot and cold concrete or masonry cleaning, onsite training and safety, and cleanup and disposal of materials, we take care of it all.

Staining to correct integrally colored concrete

Staining has been a solution for correcting color in masonry for more than two decade and Australia has been utilizing stain products to help blend and conceal color variations in integrally colored concrete projects over the past few years. Corrective staining has saved replacement costs and has eliminated pending arbitration between contractors, suppliers, building owners and architects on major new commercial concrete construction projects in the UK, Dubai, Canada and the US.

Staining to color correct masonry

You can change the color of your brick or mortar, to help increase the value of your property, add decorative accents, or for renovation-type repairs that need to blend back into your building, Nawkaw can even treat alkali or efflorescence areas of the affected masonry before application begins. We can apply our products at temperatures between 25 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit, with the masonry surface drying before work begins.

Staining to color new construction

More than ever we are now being specified on new construction projects. The majority of our projects are precast concrete, with such projects as parking decks, military housing and highway sound barriers.
