Main Street Clock Tower
The four-sided clock tower has been a Neenah, WI landmark for more than a century. It was built as part of the 1888 City Hall designed by architect William Waters of Oshkosh. The brick that filled ground-level archways was removed, and the brick that filled the upper-level windows was replaced with translucent glass. Nawkaw was hired to clean all the brick, mortar and stone from all the years of pollution and grime and copper stains; using a limestone restorer and heavy duty restoration cleaner. Nawkaw then stained all the mismatched brick and stone repair using NECT 90. All work was performed off a 125 boom lift and was completed in 1 week with a 2 man crew. |
